We were thinking the other day about our favourite hair product among our range of all-natural haircare, and our conditioner bar definitely came to mind, for a few reasons.
Unlike most hair conditioners in the market, we are unique in saying that it's OK to use this on your scalp and hair roots! In fact you can even use this on your skin!
But it wasn't easy getting here. Our solid conditioner bar is a product that went through a few iterations because our supply of the actives wasn't particularly stable, so we had to adjust the formula based on what we could procure, while maintaining a similar quality and cost. We really appreciate our early users who trusted their hair with our conditioner bar!
It's also a product that doesn't use a popular (commonly found) active ingredient for making solid conditioner bars, because we wanted to keep to the "fully natural" philosophy, and we have our reservations about that specific ingredient. Which ingredient is this? You'll have to comb through the ingredient list and compare it with others to find out, as we won't name or shame any ingredient here. 😆😆
And finally, the key ingredient we have been using recently got "upgraded" by the ingredient manufacturer, and the results are even better now!
Oh, and the name... yes we were inspired by the 80s hit by Sade. For some reason we thought it was amusing to name our solid conditioner bar Smooth Operator. Well, we can say for sure it operates very well as a conditioner and your hair and skin will definitely feel smooth after use!
How to use this bar? After rinsing off the shampoo, wet the bar and apply it directly or glide it along your hair, and it really is okay if the bar is applied on your scalp too! Leave on for a minute, and rinse off. Similarly you can apply it on your body before your final rinse!
